How to Sign Up for Target’s Baby Registry

Creating a baby registry at Target is super easy and can be done online or in-store:

• Online: Visit Target’s Baby Registry page and follow the prompts to create your registry. You’ll then be able to add the items you want, personalize your list and even track your gifts.
• In-store: Stop by the Guest Services desk at any Target location and ask for help setting up your registry. Once you're done setting it up, you'll be able to scan items directly into your list using the Target app.

Once your registry is created and you complete the requirements, you’ll be eligible to receive the free welcome kit.

What’s Inside the Free Welcome Kit?

Target’s Welcome Kit is a carefully picked bundle of free baby-friendly free samples, full-size items and goodies worth over $100. Some items I received in my free Welcome Kit were a Munchkin bottle, Johnson's lotion, Pampers Diapers and Baby Wipes, WaterWipes and a cloth Target bag.

The items inside your kit may vary slightly, but here’s what you can usually expect to receive:

How to Claim Your Welcome Kit

Baby Registry Welcome Kit offers are automatically added to your Target Circle deal list in the app and on the Target site when you create a baby registry. You'll need to accept the Baby Registry Welcome Kit bonus once it's been added to your Target Circle account. Please allow 24-48 hours for the bonus to be issued. 

To get your free welcome kit:

Online or in-app:

1. Join Target Circle - You must be a Target Circle member.
2. Create a baby registry.
3. Add at least 10 unique items to your registry.
4. Purchase over $10 worth of items from the registry, either by you or by others.
5. Claim your kit

• Via the app: Open the Target app, tap the "my target" icon, go to "my registry" and scroll down to find the Welcome Kit option to claim it.
• Via the Target site: Go to your registry dashboard, find the "registry benefits" or "deals & benefits" section and click "claim now". 

     6. Add the welcome kit to your cart. The cost should be deducted automatically. If not, you may need to add another registry item to your cart first for the discount to apply. 

In-store:

1. Follow steps 1 through 4 of the online process above.
2. Go to the Guest Services desk at any Target store and show proof of your registry (via the app or a printed confirmation).
3. The Welcome Kit barcode will appear in your Target app and you can have the associate scan it to get your free kit. 

Availability may vary by store, so it’s a good idea to call ahead to make sure they have kits in stock and you're not wasting a trip.
