Become a Nike Product Tester: Your Guide to Testing Free Shoes and Gear
If you live and breathe Nike and get hyped every time they drop something fresh, well now's your chance to be more than just a fan. When you sign up to become a Nike Product Tester you’ll be among the first to try out the newest gear before anyone else even sees it. Plus, you get to tell Nike what you think, and they will use your feedback to help fine tune the look, feel and performance of their products. Nike’s product testing program usually welcomes kids, teens, and adults. Right now, they’re only accepting new applications for children 12 and younger. So, if you’re a parent whose kid would love trying out the latest Nike gear and sharing what they think about it, this is your moment to sign them up. The adult and teen testing spots are on pause for now, but hopefully it won't be that way for long. We'll be sure to update this post when they open those spots again.
How Do You Become A Nike Product Tester?
Does becoming a Nike product tester sound like something that's right up your alley? If you answered yes, then just head over to the application page and follow a couple of quick and easy steps to get your started.
The first step is setting up your tester profile. They’ll ask for basics like your location, birth date, email, and mailing address so they know where to send your items. You’ll choose your favorite product categories from option like shoes, apparel, or both (yes, both!). Then be sure to include your sizes so everything fits just right. It would be so frustrating to get your item in the mail and it doesn't fit (ugh, could you imagine?), so you may want to double check any sizes you're not 100% sure of just so you can avoid that from happening.
You'll then need to include a little more about yourself such as your gender, height, weight and if you've previously had any testing experience. They're also interested to know if you're connected to Nike or the NCAA (are you or a family member an employee, volunteer, etc - things like that). Then comes the easy stuff - setting up your login details, opting to be contacted by email or text, and signing the waiver to officially get you started. Oh, and if you have a recruitment code, don't worry, they have a spot for that too. Plus, if you’re a parent, you can sign up your kid under your profile so they can test gear too (no need to make multiple accounts yay!).
PRO-TIP: You're usually matched on how you’ll use the item, so you may want to take your measurements and think about which sports or activities you (or your child) are most involved in before you apply - it just makes filling out the application much quicker and easier that way.

- Age: You must be at least 18 years old. For minors, a parent or guardian must register them.
- Location: Must reside in the specified geographic regions where Nike is recruiting testers.
