You Can Now Order Starbucks with your Target Drive Up Order

It's Happening! We can finally add Starbuck's to our Target Drive up orders Nationwide.



Target announced that you will be able to order Starbucks with your Target Drive-Up order at every location nationwide by October. Target first announced the Starbucks drive up pilot program in select cities over a year ago and as expected it went great and they are ready to roll it out to everyone. What a luxury to be able to pickup your Target orders and have it include a handcrafted Starbucks drink!

What Starbucks Drinks & Food Can I Order for Target Drive Up?

The full menu including food will be available to order on the Target App! Yep, that means you can order all of your favorite handcrafted beverages including seasonal beverages and treats. That means you can of course order the Starbucks three top-selling items: iced brown sugar oatmilk shaken espresso, birthday cake pop and iced caramel macchiato.

How Do I Place a Target Starbucks Drive-Up Order?

In order to unlock this Starbucks Drive Up feature you need to first place a Target Drive Up order for a Target store near you in the app or online for the regular products and groceries you need and you will receive a message when the order is ready.

1. When you are ready to pick up the order, open the app and indicate that you are enroute and coming to pick up the order.
2. You will then receive a prompt to place an order from the Starbucks full menu. Upon making their Starbucks selections, they will click “Add for Drive Up” and pay for the order.     
3. Once you complete the Drive Up check-in process and click “I’m on my way,” a Starbucks barista located within the participating Target store prepares the order. This includes packaging food and beverage items to ensure their safe transport, such as drink stoppers to securely seal lid openings. 
4. You then park in the designated Drive Up parking area and taps “I’m here” in the Target app. A Target team member then delivers the freshly prepared Starbucks order — along with the your regular Target Drive Up purchases — to your car.
   
   Note: If you take more than 30 minutes to pick up your order, the Starbucks drink will be discarded and you will be refunded.

Can I Redeem and Earn Starbucks Rewards Stars on my Drive Up Order?

Linking to your Starbucks account and earning stars is not available at this time. That also means any Starbucks gift cards will also not work for Target Drive Up. You can use any of the Target Circle Starbucks coupons in your account.The good news is if you have the Target RedCard debit or credit card you will earn 5% off.
