Equifax Data Breach Settlement - Free $125 If You Qualify

From the FTC and media regarding this class action (this is a continually developing story)- When the FTC originally made the announcement, it wasn’t anticipating the overwhelming public response that has occurred since — millions of people have already visited the claim site, and it’s only been a week.Because so many people filed claims for benefits and opted for the cash option, the payment will be much lower than originally predicted.

If you were affected by the 2017 Equifax Data Breach you may be eligible to claim $125 for free! In 2017 the data breach affected approximately 147 million U.S. consumers. Equifax has a class action settlement fund that was established to pay those affected. Follow our steps below to see if you qualify for this class action settlement and what your options are to claim:

STEP 1: Check here to see if you qualify by looking up your last name and the last six digits of your Security Security Number.

STEP 2: If you qualify you have 2 options you can select to claim:
Option 1: Free credit monitoring for a total of 10 years: 4 years from Equifax, Experian and TransUnion and than 6 additional years of free credit monitoring from just Equifax.
Option 2: Free $125 Cash payment via Check or Cash Card. If you choose this option you MUST certify that you will have credit monitoring for at least 6 months from today.
