Ask Angie: How to Be a Courteous Couponer
Five ways to be a more courteous couponer.Don't be the grouchy coupon lady! Sometimes as couponers we get frazzled when we get to the register. To help things run smoothly follow these simple tips:
- Know the policy- Always know the store’s coupon policy. It will help avoid problems at the register.
- Don’t clear shelves- Don’t be this person. Just don’t. Nobody likes to seek a deal to encounter an empty shelf. Buy what you and your family will need and leave some for others.
- Read the restrictions on the coupon (the fine print) and follow it!
- Be considerate-. Tell your cashier and customers behind you ahead of time of your coupons and organize your coupons prior to getting in line.
- Be proud of your savings and share with family and friends.
