Sorry you got pregnant, newmommytobe for your baby's sake I hope you don't hold it against your poor kid but you should probably have read the VCF website before using it as your only method of birth control. They're very clear that it's only up to 94% effective, which means that in 6% OR MORE of cases it won't work. (They also state that you should talk to your doctor before deciding on a method of birth control, which is a good idea for many reasons, not just the fact that they'd point this out to you if you didn't know it already.) VCF is just spermicide there's a reason spermicide is recommended as an additional measure when using a condom (which itself is only 96% effective), because neither one works perfectly all the time by itself. NO birth control method works perfectly all the time, not even the pill, not even multiple methods combined (although the effectiveness does increase then). Contraceptives fail, pregnancies happen. If you really don't want to get pregnant, don't have sex. Otherwise, you take your chances.
As for this sample offer, I filled out the form several weeks ago and still haven't received it. Not holding my breath, although I'd really like to try it out (WITH a condom, because I'm not going to risk my whole future on being in that 94% and then blame the manufacturer when I end up in the 6% instead). |

| Came in a week, easy to use... You have to use it everytime you go at it. If you had intercourse and the 3hrs have not yet passed you need to put one on again. maybe thats why she got pregnant, she maybe used one for 3hrs and she went at it more than once with one film. Anyways congrats. |
