Texas Pete is not sending a coupon for a free Texas Pete product by becoming a fan. The offer is they will send you a coupon for a buy one get one free if you have over 100,000 fans on Face Book by November 15th. That is hardly worth the effort. I mean you can buy a bottle of Texas Pete for like a dollar and some change. I mean who really truly knows and has 100,000 fans? Unless you are a big super star. Well you win some you lose some.

They are not asking you to personally get 100,000 fans on facebook, they are asking you to sign up on facebook to become a fan of Texas Pete. If Texas Pete gets 100,000 fans by the deadline, everyone that signed up to be fan will get the coupon. TGI Fridays is doing a similar contest and the deadline was the end of September, they reached their 500,000 fan goal yesterday so, everyone that signed up to be a fan of Woody the spokesperson for TGI Fridays will be getting a free burger... Yeah!! If you already have a facebook page, why not give it a try.....

Check the message they've sent out on Facebook email, if you've signed up for this. My understanding is that you may not get anything at all.
