Greetings Everyone!

 

We at MySavings are constantly striving to try to make our community a better place for all of our users!

 

We have lots of ideas and plans, and are going to be upgrading the site over the next few months. We wanted to get your feedback on what you’d like to see added to or eliminated from MySavings.com.

 

Of course, as you all probably know, our most popular section is the Free Samples section and we feel that we do that better than any other site out there!  If you beg to differ, let us know why and what we can do to change your mind.

 

Also, a fair amount of you guys and gals use the “Printable Coupons” section, which has some great grocery and drug store coupons in it.

 

It doesn’t seem that you are using the “Online Coupons”, “Deals” and “Comparison Shopping” sections much, and we were wondering why.   The “Online Coupons” section has coupons from most major stores on the Internet and the “Deals” section is frequently updated with great internet deals.  The “Compare” (Comparison Shopping) is a great tool to use once you know what you are looking to buy, but want to find the best deal on it (I use it all the time!).

 

We are looking to either improve some of the less popular sections on MySavings so that more of you will utilize them, or perhaps eliminate them to make room on MySavings for other things that you will use more.  We don’t want to be focusing our resources on stuff that you all aren’t enjoying!

 

Everyone seems to love the Free Samples, the Forum, and the Printable Coupons, but what about the other section?  We’d love to hear your opinions!

 

We want to improve the community aspect of our site, to allow more user interaction, feedback, and control over the site.

 

We want to provide an awesome service, and our goal is for MySavings to provide you with what you want, can use, and will come back to use again.  We are looking forward to hearing from you all!

I think that if the posts were sorted by newest first-date orginally posted, not for the replys.  I often check back and think how convienant it would be to be able to do a quick look on the first page for any new samples.   I am sure I have other suggestions, but can't think of any right now.  I love your site, and I have referred so many of my friends, family and coworkers.  Keep up the great work!

I would like to see a column where we can check off if we have requested or signed up for something so if we go back through the 45 pages, we know what we have requested.
 
I am so happy I have found this site and have even made a few PM buddies, would like to have a chat room of some sort that everyone could access too!

I think mysavings is great but i would have to agree with being able to check off what i have already requested/received. As for the coupons i dont dont have a printer for y laptop which is what i work off of. so yah.

As soon as we get more ink for our printer I will be printing coupons again.  As far as the online coupons, I don't use them because if I am as stated about out if ink, I will run to Walmart, Costco, etc right now to get it instead of ordering it and having to wait for it to come.  I love the idea of the check off list.  I know I have requested samples and have never rec'd them.

So, many of the suggestions already made were great! 

~It would be nice to be able to check off what we have already requested, and already received. 

~A chat room would be nice since we all have at least one thing in common--we are addicted to free stuff!!!

~I think it would be great if we were able to do some more categories.  Many times people are just looking for what ever free stuff is out there, but sometimes, we are looking for specific items, like womens, or mens, or children's freebies.  Possibly even a category for survey panels that are actually worth the time!

~Another suggestion is letting members create a more involved "about me" page.  A place to post what free stuff you have gotten, your hobbies, and even pics (I have had a couple of people ask me to post pics of my Mustang somewhere since they know that I am using my gift cards to purchase parts for the restoration).  If would be nice to be able to personalize this space with backgrounds and such--a place to show people who you are.

I personally think that this site is awesome!  I love the "hunt" for great freebies, and also signing up for the great things that other people have found in their own "hunts."  Thanks for such a great opportunity & keep up the great work.  I know that whatever you choose to do will make the site even better (although it seems hard to believe that can happen!Wink)

Okay, just thought of something else to add~it would be nice (not necessary, but nice) to have a place where we could keep track of how many posts we have.  I find myself going through all my posts, counting to see how many I have every 11 days or so.  It would be cool if someway we could code (maybe change the color of the link or put a symbol by it) the ones that have already met a rewards claim.  This way we don't keep counting all the ones we have already rec'd credit for.  This would make it easier for admin to check our count as well--just count the new ones, the coded ones no longer would need to be counted.

Keep the ideas coming!  Our team will be looking over all the ideas and come up with a game plan of which changes we need to make!

Ok, I didn't want to edit my post because you might miss this.
 
Instead of just being able to check it off, is there a way to code it or put a date in?
 
I just started keeping a list of what I have ordered (boy, did I miss a bunch) and most I could tell when I ordered because I pretty much did it when the post went up, but some were posts from say December that I didn't get to until I joined in March.

I'd like to see a Paypal payment as an option. I am grateful for the gift cards, but I end up using them a different way. For example:

Mom wants a $20 CD Set
To get her to buy it, I charge her $15 and no shipping

I'd rather be able to do this:
Go to the store with some Paypal cash and get some cheap clothes or help pay bills. The prices on Amazon.com are crazy.

Does anyone agree with  me on the Paypal payments? They're same as cash. Paypal can deposit your money in 3-4 business days into a bank account.
