There’s a lot to be said for having kids. You’re inventing a whole other little person who has your great smile and your partner’s quirky sense of humor. They look up to you, beg for bedtime stories, and make you laugh with their endless questions. They make you remember what it was like to be that young, to have an endless fascination with a world that is completely brand new, and thanks to them we get to revisit that world every day we’re with them. They remind us to have fun and make us realize that sometimes cloud watching IS more important than doing laundry. There’s no doubt that having kids changes your life forever.
Kids do, however, need a lot of stuff. Diapers and bottles and car seats and more diapers and formula and toys and still more diapers…you get the picture. New parents always say the same thing: “I had no idea babies came with this much stuff!”
